How It Works

People like and drink wine whether it is for a special occasion or a casual dinner with friends. Your organization needs revenue.

TorchLight Community (TLC) offers an effective wine program designed for private and charitable organizations to raise money in a sustainable, year-round method.

How it works:

  • Our winemaker produces fantastic wines ready for your own unique label
  • Together we develop a wine brand and label for your organization to fit your image and mission
  • We submit the labels for  government approval (TTB)
  • Upon label approval, TLC creates an online “Wine Shop” to benefit your organization, featuring wines with your label
  • Together we craft a marketing campaign to let your supporters, members and your local community  know that the wines are available
  • For every bottle purchased you receive a portion of the proceeds (typically $130-$270 per case)
  • Your organization receives donations based on wine sales on a quarterly basis

Here’s how to raise money through wine sales:

A low-range wine fundraising example

Assume a bottle sells for $21 and your proceeds are $6 per bottle*. Let's say 25% of your 1,000 supporters buy an average of 2 bottles twice per year.


That’s a profit of $3000.00

A mid-range wine fundraising example

Assume a bottle sells for $36, and your proceeds are $12 per bottle*. Let's say 20% of your 1,000 supporters buy 2 bottles per year.

That’s a profit of $4800.00
